Outfit Of The Day For Spring And A New Rental Site That I’m Loving!

Hey, what’s up, hello! I know it’s been awhile, don’t judge me! Since I have a lot more time on my hands and working from home I wanted to get back into writing and bring my blog back to life. So here’s my first blog post for 2020!

So before I get into my outfit, let me give you a bit of background. I recently signed up for MyList Bloomingdales which is a subscription service that lets you rent styles and keep them for as long as you like. Yup, you read that right! Bloomingdales will send you four styles at a time from your virtual closet. The subscription has a monthly fee of $149 but your first month is $99. I have a separate blog post coming soon about the items I’ve rented from MyList and how it compares to Rent The Runway. As of right now, I really like what I’m seeing and they update the site with new styles every week. So let’s see how it goes!

Now onto my outfit, my blazer is Lini Juliette Windowpane-printed blazer in black, white and pink from MyList Bloomingdales. MyList suggested my size based on the measurements I entered and said that I’m a 6 but I ordered a size 4 and it fit perfectly. For me, it fits true to size because I’m usually a size 4 in blazers and jackets and it’s also a little oversized which I loved.

My top and jeans are both from Zara. The top is a bodysuit with a snap button closure and square-neckline. Personally, I love a square neckline and I wish I bought this bodysuit in every color! It’s still available and it’s only $20. They have a red/orange shade that I’m going to buy for the Summer. The jeans are old but they’re my favorite high-waisted pair from Zara. I actually buy all my jeans from Zara because they fit me the best and doesn’t need to be tailored. Below are a few of my favorite high-waisted black pairs and they’re only $40.

ShoeDazzle Clarise Stiletto Booties

As for my boots, they were gifted by ShoeDazzle! They are the Clarise Stiletto Booties and are croc faux-leather with a 4.5 inch heel. I wore these with blue jeans and a red top one night and for work I wore leather shorts, baggy sweater and these boots. I got so many compliments! Check out ShoeDazzle for affordable and fashionable styles starting at $39.95. When you become a VIP you can get your first style for as low at $10. They even have free exchanges and free shipping!

My accessories are by Flourish by EliJas which is a Latina woman-owned small business in the heart of NYC. This boutique is online only and they have a variety of earrings under $20. They started selling necklaces which are delicate and layered. Pictured in the photo gallery above, I’m wearing the Luna Star Necklace and my earrings are the Highline Link Earrings. The earrings were the perfect statement piece to my look! I also added their skinny retro cat-eye Casanova Shades in white.

Most recently I was gifted new frames by Style Inspo which is another women-owned business and they have some of the nicest shades. I loved these Cuban Link Cat Eye Sunglasses, especially the cat-eye shape and they have a cool gold metal braided chain on the side. Bonus points they’re also UVA & UVB protection and you can get them for $40!

Let me know what you think about my Spring outfit in the comments and let me know what you would want to see from me! I have more outfit of the days coming soon! Thanks for reading!
